CHRIS TOWNEND

Chris Started BJB (Bigjesus Burger) 14 years ago in Sydney's Redfern and has built the studio from the ground up. He has been at the current Surry Hills location for 11 years.

With over two decades experience working with local and international artists his insight into record production is second to none. Chris has a strong musical background performing in his own groups Sun, Kiss My Poodles Donkey and Mayo (among others) and with his wide appreciation of all styles of music he has become a sought after Producer and Engineer.

From tracking live orchestras to film scores to punk rock to mastering, Chris has developed a vast depth of knowledge of both his equipment and the music at hand.
